AdLib Theatre was founded in January of 2015. Our focus is on the art of long form improv where short scenes are often interrelated by relationships, characters, or themes and the entire process (meaning there is no script) is created in front of the audience by a set of performers working together. We believe there is a voice for all types of improv and we seek to provide those opportunities through the production of a variety of shows, an improv training center, and drop in workshops. We provide a supportive and thriving improv community and live up to our slogan: “Where YOU Fill in the Blanks”! Randy’s Jugband Jamboree is a reflection of this philosophy!

Bananas Republic hails from the Take Theater in West Palm Beach, FL. The group specializes in long form improvisation, taking one suggestion from the audience and creating a short improvised comedic play. And while that is a fairly typical of an improv troupe, what really separates Bananas Republic is the cast’s passion. They are the type of people who if they were performing outside and it started to rain they would finish their set never batting an eye and keeping the same level of fun and laughter as if they were indoors and cozy. Always striving to be jacks of all trades the cast is comfortable with all walks of comedy, be it slapstick or dark.
